1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Lapdog Booking ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Lapdog Booking provides a booking and invoicing platform for traveling instructors and coaches. The Platform enables instructors to manage client bookings, scheduling, availability, invoicing, and Google Calendar integration through a branded booking website.

3. User Accounts

• Instructor accounts are created during onboarding by the platform operator.
• Client accounts are created when an instructor adds a client or when a client books a session.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account access (magic link emails).
• You must provide accurate and complete information.

4. Bookings and Payments

• Bookings are agreements between the instructor and the client. Lapdog Booking facilitates these bookings but is not a party to the agreement.
• Payment terms, rates, cancellation policies, and travel fees are set by each instructor through their platform settings.
• Payments are made directly between instructor and client through the methods specified by the instructor (Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, etc.). Lapdog Booking does not process payments.

5. Cancellation Policies

Each instructor sets their own cancellation policy, including thresholds for late cancellation fees and travel fee charges. These policies are displayed during the booking process and on invoices. By booking a session, you agree to the instructor's cancellation policy.

6. Google Calendar Integration

Instructors may connect their Google Calendar to the Platform for scheduling purposes. By connecting, you authorize the Platform to:

• Read calendar events to determine availability
• Create, update, and delete events related to bookings
• Store encrypted OAuth credentials to maintain the connection

You may disconnect Google Calendar at any time through your admin settings.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Platform without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Lapdog Booking. Instructor content (logos, descriptions, settings) remains the property of the respective instructor.

9. Limitation of Liability

Lapdog Booking is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Disputes between instructors and clients
• Payment issues between parties
• Losses resulting from service interruptions or data loss
• Actions or omissions of instructors or clients

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for Platform services in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at our discretion for violations of these terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Instructors may request account termination at any time by contacting the platform operator.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
